Key Account Manager (People Management Role)
Reporting to: Commercial Head
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with major semiconductor customers across Taiwan and global markets. This role will serve as the primary commercial interface for Tier-1 semiconductor accounts, driving long-term business growth, customer engagement, and operational alignment.
The position plays a critical role in expanding advanced materials and technical solution businesses within semiconductor manufacturing environments, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Global Business Units.
The ideal candidate will possess strong semiconductor account management experience, leadership capability, and deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing ecosystems and customer operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic semiconductor accounts and build long-term customer partnerships.
- Develop and execute account strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth and business expansion.
- Lead customer engagement activities throughout the full sales cycle, including opportunity development, proposal management, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Collaborate with global business teams to identify new business opportunities, define commercial strategies, and support regional growth initiatives.
- Manage key customer relationships with major semiconductor manufacturers and related ecosystem partners.
- Promote advanced materials, technical solutions, and on-site service programs within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Lead and mentor account teams to strengthen customer relationships and improve overall account performance.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Product teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitive activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure achievement of revenue targets, profitability objectives, and business KPIs.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience within the Semiconductor, Chemical, or Semiconductor Equipment industry.
- At least 5 years of Key Account Management experience handling Tier-1 semiconductor customers such as TSMC, Micron, UMC, ASE, or equivalent accounts.
- Proven experience managing strategic customer relationships in electronic materials, specialty chemicals, semiconductor manufacturing, or equipment-related businesses.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, fab operations, supply chain management, and customer qualification procedures.
- Demonstrated people management and leadership experience, including team leadership, coaching, and resource management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix, and international business environment.
