Packaging Design Engineer

Responsible for the design, development, testing, and production of wood crate and industrial packaging solutions. Lead packaging projects from concept through mass production, ensuring structural integrity, quality compliance, and cost optimization. Collaborate with global R&D teams, suppliers, and customers to develop innovative packaging solutions and validate performance through industry-standard testing.

Key Requirements

• Lead the design and development of engineering systems and products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Execute conceptual design, specification development, drafting and sampling, testing and validation through to volume production. 
• Collaborate internally with global teams and externally as an engineering customer interface.
• Collaborate with global R&D team and drive local suppliers to develop new packaging products.
• Performs detailed technical analysis and evaluation, and proposes improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
• Perform packaged product testing following various test procedure & standards.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by engineering manager.
