President/General Manager

Confidential Search – We’re seeking a President/General Manager for a IT & Services company based in Taipei. Reporting to the Chairman and board of directors, this role will provide strategic vision, operational leadership, and full P&L accountability for the company. He or she will leverage deep local market insights and global cloud trends to scale the company’s service offerings, cultivate strategic alliances, and foster a high-performance culture.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Business Growth: Define and execute the company’s long-term business strategy, aligning local initiatives with regional or global corporate goals.
• P&L Management: Own full financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
• Market Expansion: Identify new commercial avenues, particularly in enterprise cloud migration, hybrid cloud architecture, and emerging managed services.
• Cross-Functional Operational Excellence: Empower the commercial team to secure high-value enterprise accounts, government contracts, and strategic ecosystem partnerships (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Guide the company to localize global offerings and build scalable, proprietary cloud-native solutions that meet specific regulatory and market needs.
• Tech Support & Operations: Ensure world-class service delivery and customer satisfaction across 24/7 technical support and network operations.
• Lead by Example: Model and cultivate an agile, inclusive, and innovation-driven corporate culture across all 200 employees.
• Manage and develop the functional heads (VPs/Directors) of Sales, Engineering, Product, and Ops to build a robust leadership pipeline.

 
Required Qualifications & Experience

• Industry Tenure: A minimum of 20 years of professional working experience within the IT, Cloud, or Technology Services industries.
• Leadership Track Record: At least 10 years of progressive managerial experience, with a proven track record of managing large teams (100+ people preferred) and holding full or substantial P&L responsibility.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Cloud computing (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), Managed Services, DevOps, cybersecurity, and the enterprise IT landscape.
• An established professional network within Taiwan's enterprise tech ecosystem, hardware/software vendors, and relevant government bodies.
• Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and professional proficiency in English are required for local leadership and global stakeholder reporting.
• Strategic Agility: Ability to anticipate market shifts, pivot business models, and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced cloud market.
• Exceptional communication skills to successfully navigate boardroom dynamics, influence global executives, and inspire local teams.
