Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior HR Director to embed company HR strategy and provide professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business. In this role, you will need to review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance in Taiwan.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be the HR champion of business strategy: driving company values and guiding others to do the same;
- Function as business partner in developing talent and designing and implementing workforce and organizational strategies that align with company’s global strategies and objective;
- Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda;
- Support line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy;
- Advice and execute on statutory, employee relations, compensation, benefits, policies and procedural issues for the region;
- Drive the people processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards;
- Identify and drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions to facilitate continuous improvement;
- Effectively network within a highly matrixed organization;
- Work closely and cooperatively with other regional HR and other functional leaders in the U.S.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or a related degree; advanced degree in human resources preferred;
- Proven experience of progressive HR leadership experience, including leading HR organizations in multinational companies (preferably in high-tech manufacturing);
- Demonstrated success supporting diverse employee populations across manufacturing, engineering, R&D, commercial, and corporate functions.
- Strong understanding of talent management, organizational effectiveness, change management, and workforce planning;
- To be driven to achieve results and inspire the desire in others to do the same;
- Teamwork - Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Contributes to building a positive team;
- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Works well in group problem solving situations;
- Interpersonal - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Good listening and clarification skill; Responds openly to feedback;
- Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; defends the needs for resources and support with data;

- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategies into people solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Taiwan labor laws and HR practices.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
