Sr. Machine Learning (Security) Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern cyber threats and the ability to design AI-driven solutions that enhance security across data centers and operational environments. This role involves developing advanced ML models to detect and mitigate sophisticated attacks such as ransomware, while implementing security measures at both system and hardware levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Machine Learning Pipeline Development

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for cybersecurity applications

• Implement effective data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation techniques for threat detection

2. Expertise in LLMs, Transformers, and AI Frameworks

• Apply large language models and transformer architectures to analyze and predict cyber threats

• Utilize frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow for developing AI solutions in security contexts

3. Cyber Threat Detection and Mitigation

• Develop AI-driven methods to detect, prevent, and respond to ransomware and other advanced threats

• Implement security measures at the BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) level for data center protection

• Perform ML-based behavioral analysis to identify anomalies and prevent intrusions in operational environments

4. Edge Computing for Cybersecurity

• Optimize ML models for deployment on edge and resource-constrained devices

• Address challenges related to latency, compute limitations, and real-time threat detection

5. Research and Professional Expertise

• Translate cutting-edge research into practical cybersecurity solutions

• Stay informed on emerging threats, AI advancements, and evolving security technologies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning and cybersecurity

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline with an AI/ML focus

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries and frameworks

• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and drive innovation in cybersecurity

• Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork capabilities
