At Morgan Philips, we are looking for a National MSL for a leading company in the pharmaceutical sector to join the Medical Affairs team in Spain.
In this role, you will support the scientific development and positioning within the area of respiratory and infectious diseases. As a field-based professional, you will act as the national scientific ambassador, driving high-quality medical exchange and strengthening the company’s presence in this therapeutic area.
The position operates within a highly ethical and compliant framework and in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary national scientific point of contact for healthcare professionals, providing balanced, up-to-date scientific information related to respiratory and infectious diseases and their clinical management.
• Lead initial scientific landscape assessments, including proactive prospecting and mapping of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in respiratory and infectious diseases.
• Build and maintain long-term, value-based scientific relationships with physicians, centres, and institutions involved in the management of respiratory and infectious diseases.
• Deliver high-level scientific education and training, supporting the understanding of disease areas, clinical data, and treatment approaches.
• Represent the company at national congresses and scientific meetings relevant to respiratory and infectious diseases, ensuring impactful scientific engagement.
• Plan and coordinate peer-to-peer scientific activities such as advisory boards, expert meetings, symposiums, and post-congress discussions.
• Capture and communicate medical insights to shape Medical Affairs strategy and support data-driven decision making.
• Support local scientific publications and collaborative research initiatives.
• Act as a clinical trial liaison for Investigator Initiated Interventional Studies (IIIS), working closely with investigators and academic groups.
• Ensure full compliance with pharmacovigilance, ethical standards, and internal procedures in all interactions.
• Collaborate closely with international Medical Affairs teams, with the opportunity for occasional travel outside Spain.
Profile Requirements:
• University degree in Health Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, ideally in a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role.
• Strong scientific mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and translate evidence into meaningful scientific dialogue.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced/fluent English, enabling effective collaboration in an international scientific environment.
• Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable working in a dynamic, field-based role.
• Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
