At Morgan Philips Outsourcing, we are partnering with one of Europe's leading airlines, based in Barcelona, to recruit a Safety Data Analyst.

This is a unique opportunity for a data-driven professional who wants to apply their analytical expertise to a high-impact environment where every insight contributes to operational excellence, crew wellbeing and aviation safety.

You will play a key role in analysing operational data, identifying trends and risks, and supporting strategic decisions related to human performance and fatigue management across flight operations.

Your key responsibilities

• Analyse crew scheduling and operational data to assess fatigue-related risks.
• Review and investigate fatigue reports, identifying root causes and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with Crew Planning and Operational teams to improve scheduling practices and crew recovery opportunities.
• Develop reports, dashboards and actionable insights for management.
• Monitor safety and fatigue indicators, proposing mitigation strategies when necessary.
• Support aviation safety audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Deliver awareness and training initiatives on fatigue risk management.
• Participate in innovative projects involving biometric and operational performance data.

What we're looking for

Background

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Data Analytics, Aviation Management or a related discipline.
• Additional training in Human Factors, Safety Management Systems or Risk Management will be considered a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in analytical, operational, safety, risk management or data-focused roles.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating information into business recommendations.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and/or Python is highly valued.
• Aviation experience is a plus but not required.

Skills

• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to identify patterns, trends and operational risks from complex data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive.
