The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background in corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal Advisory:
  Provide legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance specific to the Chinese market.

• Contract Management:
  Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, ensuring that they align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks.

• Regulatory Compliance:
  Monitor and advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring that the organization operates within legal frameworks.

• Risk Management:
  Identify potential legal risks associated with business operations and provide strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with business units, including sales, operations, and HR, to address legal issues that may arise in day-to-day operations.

• Dispute Resolution:
  Manage disputes and litigation involving the organization, working with external counsel when necessary to develop and execute legal strategies.

• Policy Development:
  Assist in the creation and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Education:
  Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice law in China is required.

• Experience:
  5-7 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a strong focus on corporate law, commercial contracts, and compliance.

• Language Skills:
  Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Analytical Skills:
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex legal issues.

• Interpersonal Skills:
  Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
