Technical Brazing Specialist / Lead Brazer (M/F)
 
Position Overview
As part of its metal fabrication and assembly activities, our client is seeking a Technical Brazing Specialist to provide technical expertise in brazing processes, support production teams, and ensure that all manufactured assemblies comply with quality, safety, and customer requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities :
 
Technical Expertise

• Perform brazing operations on various materials.
• Define, validate, and optimize brazing parameters.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing routes and procedures.
• Provide technical support to operators and cross-functional departments.

• Train new brazers on best practices and brazing techniques.
• Support the skills development of production teams.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures and standards.
• Act as the technical point of reference for production issues and non-conformities.

• Inspect and verify the conformity of brazed assemblies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, QRQC, etc.).
• Ensure full traceability of operations in accordance with quality requirements.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Monitor the conformity and proper maintenance of brazing equipment and tooling.
• Participate in internal and external audits.

• Vocational Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• A brazing certification would be an advantage.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial brazing.
• Experience within the aerospace, Defence, energy, or precision manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of manual brazing processes and/or controlled atmosphere brazing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of industrial quality standards.
• Proficiency in the use of inspection and measurement tools.
• Solid understanding of the metallurgical principles related to brazing.
