A leading global technology company in the connectivity and smart home space is seeking a Consumer Director to drive its next phase of growth in Mexico.
This organization is recognized worldwide for innovation, quality, and market leadership in networking and consumer electronics, with a strong presence across retail, distribution, and e-commerce channels.
The Role
The Consumer Director will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy across all consumer channels, driving sustainable growth, and strengthening market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies across consumer channels
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
Channel Management
- Lead and optimize performance across:
- Traditional distribution
- Retail (modern trade / key accounts)
- E-commerce (marketplaces & direct channels)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and online partners
E-commerce Leadership
- Own strategic relationships with key marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Mercado Libre)
- Lead negotiations and joint business planning
- Drive sell-in, sell-out, and sell-through performance
- Develop promotional calendars and optimize online visibility and conversion
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of commercial professionals
- Set clear KPIs and ensure strong execution and accountability
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
Marketing & Product Positioning
- Partner with marketing to strengthen brand positioning and visibility
- Align product portfolio with market trends and consumer needs
- Support product launches and promotional strategies
Profile
- Proven experience leading commercial strategy across Retail and E-commerce channels
- Strong track record managing key accounts and marketplace platforms
- Experience building senior-level relationships and leading negotiations
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance
- Experience in consumer electronics, technology, or related industries preferred
