What You’ll Do

End-to-End Product Development

• Drive new product development and innovation for gaming controller and peripheral products
• Lead product design from concept → prototyping → validation → mass production
• Work closely with global teams across Asia and Europe

Mechanical & System Design

• Develop robust mechanical and electro-mechanical designs for high-volume manufacturing
• Create detailed 3D/2D designs, tolerance analysis, and engineering documentation
• Ensure design performance meets cost, quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements

Innovation & User Experience

• Explore new product concepts, features, and user experiences
• Collaborate with Industrial Design and UX teams to deliver user-centric solutions
• Build and validate proof-of-concept prototypes for usability, functionality, and manufacturability

Engineering Excellence

• Apply engineering tools such as dFMEA, QFD, FEA (ANSYS) to ensure design robustness
• Analyze data from lab testing, pilot builds, and validation runs
• Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, NPI, and supplier quality teams
• Engage with vendors to develop tooling and production processes
• Support reliability testing strategy and execution

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Technical Expertise

• 5+ years in mechanical design/development for high-volume consumer electronics
• Strong expertise in plastic injection molding, tooling, assembly, and cosmetic quality
• Experience with plastic, metal, and post-processing techniques
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools (Creo/ProE or equivalent), including advanced surfacing
• Strong knowledge of FEA simulation (ANSYS)
• Experience with tolerance analysis and high-volume manufacturing variation control

Engineering Mindset

• Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities
• Familiar with design thinking and user-centric product development
• Hands-on experience in rapid prototyping and validation testing
• Experience in electro-mechanical system design is a strong plus

Collaboration & Communication

• Strong communication skills with experience in global, cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to drive ownership and influence stakeholders
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments

Language

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Mandarin is a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field
