Freelance Recruitment Consultant F/M

Our client, a leading organization in the banking and financial services sector, is looking for an experienced Freelance Recruitment Consultant F/M to support critical hiring initiatives in Antwerp. The ideal candidate combines strong recruitment expertise with a deep understanding of the banking industry and possesses a well-established network within the Belgian financial services market.

Fluency in Dutch is a mandatory requirement, as the consultant will work closely with Dutch-speaking hiring managers and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy intake to offer negotiation.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand talent needs and recruitment priorities.
• Source, attract, and engage high-quality candidates through direct search, networking, and other sourcing channels.
• Conduct competency-based interviews and candidate assessments.
• Present shortlisted candidates and provide market insights to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for banking and financial services roles.
• Coordinate interviews and manage communication throughout the recruitment process.
• Advise stakeholders on market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks.
• Ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate recruitment reporting and pipeline management.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience.
• Strong track record in recruiting for the banking, financial services, wealth management, corporate banking, asset management, or insurance sectors.
• Previous experience in executive search, recruitment consultancy, RPO, or in-house talent acquisition.
• Excellent knowledge of the Belgian banking landscape.
