Senior Manager – Digital Applications & Solutions

Location: Malaysia 

Note: This role is open only to Malaysian citizens.

A multinational organisation with regional operations across APAC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead digital applications, automation, analytics, and transformation initiatives within a shared services environment.

This role will be responsible for driving regional digital solution delivery, overseeing enterprise applications, and leading initiatives related to automation, AI, reporting, and business process improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with regional stakeholders, country teams, and global technology counterparts to ensure scalable and sustainable digital solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of digital applications and enterprise solutions across the region.
• Drive initiatives involving automation, AI, analytics, BI/reporting, and process digitalisation.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Manage regional digital transformation projects and oversee end-to-end project delivery.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, governance, and cybersecurity standards.
• Manage and mentor teams across application development, analytics/reporting, and digital project delivery functions.
• Establish best practices, frameworks, and operational procedures for solution development and deployment.
• Monitor solution performance, project progress, adoption metrics, and business impact.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the organisation’s long-term digital roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in enterprise applications, digital transformation, automation, analytics, or IT solution delivery.
• Strong experience managing digital initiatives involving AI, automation, BI/reporting, or enterprise applications.
• Experience leading regional projects and working across multiple countries/stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities within matrix organisations.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture, governance frameworks, and scalable digital ecosystems.
• Prior experience managing teams within a shared services or regional delivery environment is advantageous.
