About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Silicon Test Engineer with specialized expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and System-Level Testing (SLT) to join our technical team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead New Product Introduction (NPI), managing the lifecycle from early-stage silicon bring-up to high-volume mass production. This position demands a blend of deep technical mastery and rigorous execution to deliver results across multiple concurrent programs while collaborating with global, cross-functional partners in design, foundry, and reliability.
Core Responsibilities

Test Program Engineering: Design, debug, and optimize robust ATE and SLT test programs for both silicon validation and production environments.

Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and validation teams to define, implement, and refine comprehensive test requirements.

Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze complex test datasets to drive measurable improvements in product yield, performance, and overall reliability.

Methodology Development: Create and maintain advanced test patterns and methodologies tailored to various device architectures.

Technical Interface Support: Provide expert support for digital and analog test interfaces, including JTAG, scan, boundary scan, and MBIST.

Failure Analysis & Debugging: Partner with hardware and firmware teams to ensure maximum test coverage and lead effective failure debugging for production and engineering samples.

Automation & Scalability: Develop automated workflows for data collection, analysis, and reporting to enhance operational efficiency.

NPI Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in test time, coverage, and efficiency throughout the NPI phase.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in semiconductor test engineering within the industry.

Platform Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with ATE platforms, specifically Advantest.

System-Level Mastery: Proven track record in System-Level Testing (SLT), functional testing, and complex system-level debugging.

Programming Proficiency: High level of skill in scripting and programming for test development (e.g., Python, C/C++, or equivalent).

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of semiconductor test methodologies, coverage metrics, and data analysis.

Protocol Familiarity: Extensive knowledge of JTAG, boundary scan, and high-speed protocols including I2C, SPI, eMMC, USB, Ethernet, and PCIe.

Analytical Skills: Strong background in failure analysis, yield enhancement, and test optimization using data visualization tools.

Workflow Tools: Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA for project management and documentation.
