About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned product leader to drive product strategy and execution across our business units. This role requires more than strong product instincts — you will be expected to lead organizational transformation, embed AI-driven innovation into the product roadmap, and build a high-performing PM organization capable of scaling with the business.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Business Alignment
- Serve as the primary interface between business units and the product organization, translating BU priorities into a clear, defensible development roadmap.
- Facilitate structured prioritization discussions with stakeholders across functions, ensuring resource allocation reflects strategic business value rather than internal politics.
- Define and maintain a product portfolio view that balances short-term delivery with long-term capability building.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Directly manage a team of 25+ product managers, owning their performance management cycles, goal-setting, and career development.
- Establish KPI frameworks that connect individual PM contributions to measurable product and business outcomes.
- Build a culture of accountability, clarity, and continuous learning within the PM organization.
- Identify skill gaps and develop targeted hiring, coaching, and rotation strategies to elevate the team's overall capability.
Resource Allocation & Capacity Planning
- Strategically deploy PM resources across business groups in response to shifting priorities and product lifecycle stages.
- Develop capacity models that enable proactive planning rather than reactive firefighting.
- Create transparent processes for trade-off decisions when demand exceeds capacity.
AI & Digital Transformation
- Lead the integration of AI into existing and new product lines — not as a feature addition, but as a structural shift in how products create and deliver value.
- Develop a point of view on where AI creates genuine competitive differentiation in the industry, and translate that perspective into actionable product bets.
- Partner with engineering, data, and business leadership to define the organizational capabilities needed to sustain AI-driven transformation over time.
- Stay ahead of industry trends across adjacent sectors, bringing external signals into internal product conversations.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Background
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing cross-functional PM teams.
- Demonstrated track record of managing and developing teams of 25 or more direct reports, with full ownership of performance evaluation and KPI design.
- Experience operating across multiple industries or product domains, with a proven ability to onboard quickly and develop product instincts in unfamiliar contexts.
Product Leadership
- Deep expertise in product lifecycle management, from discovery through scaling and sunset.
- Strong command of prioritization frameworks and stakeholder management in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Ability to make and defend resource trade-offs under ambiguity, with both rigor and speed.
AI & Industry Fluency
- Hands-on experience leading or contributing to AI product integration or digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to distinguish genuine AI-driven value creation from trend-chasing — and communicate that distinction clearly to executives and engineering teams alike.
- Strong industry trend awareness; comfortable synthesizing signals from adjacent markets and translating them into product strategy.
Leadership & Communication
- Operates with executive presence — able to influence senior stakeholders without authority.
- Builds trust across engineering, design, business, and operations through clarity, consistency, and follow-through.
- Comfortable holding teams accountable while maintaining a psychologically safe environment for learning and iteration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in platform or ecosystem product management across multiple business units.
- Prior exposure to enterprise-level digital transformation programs involving AI, data infrastructure, or process automation.
- Background spanning more than one industry vertical (e.g., manufacturing + SaaS, fintech + enterprise software).
