Equipment Intelligence Engineer

• Location: Linkou / Taichung / Tainan / Miaoli (choose one as your base)
• Travel to customer fab sites for on-site support is required.

【About the Role】

• We are a global leader in semiconductor equipment, and we're looking for an Equipment Intelligence Specialist to turn equipment data into real productivity gains for our customers' fabs.
• Working with our proprietary equipment intelligence platform, you'll build new analytics methods, dashboards, and notebooks that help strategic customers ramp capacity, improve tool productivity, and get the best performance out of their installed equipment across Deposition, Etch, Wet, and Clean product lines.
• This role works with global teams every day, so professional English communication is a must.

【What You'll Do】
Data Analytics & Development
- Become an expert user of our equipment intelligence platform, Python (Jupyter Notebook), and JMP
- Assess installed-base performance at customer sites and use the results to back our commitments and build customer trust
- Write clean, well-documented, version-controlled Python code and notebooks that process and structure large datasets
- Build dashboards and automated reports that support productivity, capacity ramp, and fab management goals

Global Collaboration
- Work with global product experts to develop, validate, and deploy analytics notebooks
- Turn site-level learnings into reusable workflows that scale across regions, product lines, and customers
- Share insights that help global teams spot performance gaps and improvement opportunities

Customer & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with account teams, product support, site teams, and customers to hit shared productivity and business targets
- Deliver fast, data-driven answers to productivity issues and performance challenges
- Document and share new methods and best practices with colleagues worldwide

Continuous Improvement
- Adjust analytics approaches as customer targets and fab priorities shift
- Find ways to improve tool productivity, capacity utilization, and fab efficiency
- Present concise insights, trends, and recommended actions in operational reviews

【Requirements】
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong Python skills, plus hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebook and JMP; good habits in documentation and version control
- Experience with multi-dimensional data analysis, such as segmentation, classification, and data transformation
- Professional English communication skills: able to lead technical discussions, write reports, and present to global teams in English
- Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills

【Preferred】
- 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry or a related technical field
- Understanding of fab operations, equipment productivity, and capacity ramp environments
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
- Comfortable working with global experts, customers, and site leadership
- Continuous-improvement mindset: you document, standardize, and scale what works
