We are seeking a visionary Lead/Senior Systems Engineer to architect next-generation hardware management solutions for AI data center infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware and intelligence, driving the development of advanced management firmware and control systems for critical power, backup, and rack-level subsystems.
Core Responsibilities
-
Architectural Strategy & Product Definition Lead the structural planning and technical definition for next-generation Data Center Rack solutions. Translate market and technology trends into robust, forward-looking platform architectures.
-
Comprehensive Specification Development Formulate exhaustive product specifications spanning electrical design, thermal management, mechanical constraints, control logic, safety standards, and long-term reliability metrics.
-
Subsystem Integration & Control Design and integrate functional interfaces for critical infrastructure components, ensuring seamless communication and control between Power Supply Units (PSUs), Battery/Capacitor Backup Units (BBUs), Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs), and central management controllers.
-
Cross-Functional Technical Leadership Orchestrate collaboration across hardware, firmware, mechanical engineering, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure cohesive technical integration and smooth product realization.
-
Lifecycle Execution & Compliance Own the end-to-end product execution roadmap—from initial prototyping and rigorous validation testing to mass production. Oversee global safety compliance strategies (including UL, CE, and relevant industry certifications) while ensuring strict alignment with customer deployments.
-
Value Engineering & Supplier Collaboration Spearhead cost-optimization initiatives throughout the design phase without compromising reliability or performance. Partner closely with strategic component suppliers to co-develop next-generation technologies and improve manufacturing cost structures.
Key Qualifications
-
Advanced Academic Background Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
-
Domain Expertise A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in systems engineering or hardware product development, with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience in server architectures, data center infrastructure, or rack-level platforms.
-
End-to-End Lifecycle Experience Demonstrated track record of guiding complex hardware products through the entire lifecycle: from early-stage concept definition and prototyping to validation, stress testing, and volume manufacturing ramp-up.
-
Collaborative Leadership Exceptional ability to navigate and lead cross-functional environments, seamlessly uniting hardware, firmware/software, mechanical engineering, and operations teams toward a unified product goal.
