Position Overview
The Wet Etch & Cleans Engineering Organization is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and vision-driven Manager of New Product Development (NPD) to lead a high-performing engineering team in creating innovative liquid filtration and purification products for advanced semiconductor applications.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will define technical direction, execute product roadmaps from concept through commercialization, mentor top engineering talent, and align cross-functional global teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions that meet evolving customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Talent Development

People Management: Direct, mentor, and elevate a team of NPD engineers, fostering an inclusive culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Performance & Growth: Provide clear priorities, active coaching, performance management, and structured career development planning for team members.
Strategic Execution & Program Management

Technical Strategy: Establish the technical roadmap and execution strategy for NPD programs, aligning engineering efforts with overall business goals and market requirements.

Portfolio & Risk Management: Define program milestones, resource allocations, budget parameters, and proactive risk-mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery.

Decision-Making: Cultivate a rigorous, data-driven approach to technical decision-making, balancing technical trade-offs with commercial and customer expectations.
Cross-Functional & Executive Alignment

Global Collaboration: Drive alignment across global engineering, manufacturing, quality, applications, marketing, and commercial teams to streamline execution and remove operational bottlenecks.

Executive Communication: Deliver clear, concise updates on program milestones, technical trade-offs, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Customer & Global Engagement: Support global customer applications and cross-site collaboration, with willingness to travel up to 10%.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Technical & Leadership Credentials:

Education: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline (Ph.D. or advanced degree preferred).

People Leadership: Demonstrated track record of leading, coaching, and developing technical engineering teams in fast-paced environments.

Domain Expertise: Proven experience leading product development programs in semiconductor process equipment, liquid filtration, chemical purification, or advanced materials.

Project Governance: Strong project and portfolio management capabilities, including resource planning, prioritization, and executive reporting.
Technical & Analytical Skills:

Data-Driven Methodologies: Solid proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, product qualification protocols, and structured problem-solving.

Analytical Tools: Experience leveraging statistical and business intelligence software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Power BI) to drive insights and technical decisions.

Communication & Influence: Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse global stakeholders.

Time-to-Market & Quality: On-time, within-budget completion of NPD program milestones from concept gate through commercial launch.
