Sr. Android Engineer | Global SaaS Product (Hybrid)

About the Company

We are a fast-growing startup providing technology solutions for the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry across Southeast Asia. Our products include POS systems, self-service kiosks, QR ordering, kitchen display systems, inventory management, and other solutions that help restaurants improve daily operations.
We have a cross-border team across Taiwan and Southeast Asia, and we value teamwork, product thinking, engineering quality, and open communication.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain core Android applications and POS products.
• Build reliable and high-performance features for transaction-heavy environments.
• Work closely with PM, Backend, QA, and cross-border teams to turn business needs into great products.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and technical improvements.
• Help improve development practices and overall product quality.

• Kotlin, Coroutines
• Jetpack Compose, MVVM
• Room DB, Retrofit, RESTful API
• Git
• Unit Testing / CI/CD

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Android development experience
• Strong experience with Kotlin and Android development
• Good understanding of software architecture and clean, maintainable code
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• English proficiency for daily workplace communication
• Self-motivated and passionate about building quality products

Nice to Have

• Experience with Compose Multiplatform
• Experience in F&B, Retail, or POS systems
• Experience with Offline-First / Offline-Capable applications
• Experience with local data synchronization and conflict handling
