Role Overview

As a Principal SoC Architect, you will be responsible for architecting the System-on-Chips (SoCs) that will transform next-generation infrastructure products. This is a high-impact role where you will develop innovative platform, hardware, and software-level specifications while collaborating with global industry technologists to drive standards and open-source ecosystems.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Architecture: Lead the architectural definition of SoCs designed to power the next generation of global infrastructure.

• Full-Stack Specification: Develop and refine complex specifications across platform, hardware, and software layers.

• Ecosystem Leadership: Partner with industry leaders and technologists to influence emerging standards and contribute to open-source communities.

• Collaborative Design: Work synchronously with other architects, designers, and verification teams to provide critical feedback and ensure the integrity of technical designs.

• Performance Modeling: Drive the development of behavior and performance models in C/C++ to validate complex pipelines and system interactions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Architectural Mastery: Minimum of 10+ years of industry experience specifically focused on architecting System-on-Chips (SoCs).

• Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of platform and systems architecture within data centers and other large-scale infrastructure environments.

• End-to-End Product Experience: Proven track record of successfully building products through close collaboration with hardware, software, and systems development teams.

• Protocol Proficiency: Deep technical understanding of Ethernet, PCIe, and USB protocols, as well as DRAM memory controllers.

• Technical Modeling: Expert-level experience in C/C++ for behavior and performance modeling of sophisticated hardware pipelines.

• Communication Excellence: Strong presentation and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to author highly detailed technical specifications.
