Underwriter Construction / Industrial (m/v/x)

Your Responsibilities:

As an Underwriter, you will focus on providing tailored insurance solutions for various sectors, including construction and industrial projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication.
• Analyzing risks associated with incoming quotations by reviewing technical documentation and collaborating with clients as necessary.
• Determining the pricing of insurance based on risk assessment, market conditions, and underwriting guidelines.
• Preparing and managing insurance proposals from initial inquiry through to final closure of the policies.
• Conducting on-site visits to monitor ongoing projects and assess adherence to the insurance terms.
• Continually improving external relationships through regular visits to brokers and stakeholders.
• Maintaining meticulous records of current files and activities to ensure compliance and transparency.

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background in engineering underwriting and will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• A degree in engineering, finance, or a related field, with relevant underwriting experience in the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate insurance proposals and assess associated risks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster solid relationships with clients and brokers.
