Business Manager – Personal Care | Mexico

We are partnering with a global specialty chemicals company to identify a Business Manager who will lead the commercial development of its Personal Care business across Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable business growth within a highly international organization.
Who are you?
- Commercial professional with a strong background in Specialty Chemicals.
- Experienced in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial Management within Personal Care, Home Care, or related specialty ingredients markets.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities across the Mexican market.
- Skilled at managing strategic accounts, distributors, OEMs, and end customers.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience negotiating complex agreements and delivering profitable growth.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Mexican market.
- Drive business growth by identifying new customers and expanding existing accounts.
- Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, OEMs, and key strategic customers.
- Develop new opportunities across Personal Care while exploring adjacent markets such as Home Care and other specialty applications.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and product positioning initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Customer Service, Regulatory, Marketing, and R&D.
- Manage sales forecasts, budgets, profitability, and key business performance indicators.
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and commercial forums.
What are we looking for?
⚠️ Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Management within the Specialty Chemicals industry.
- Proven experience managing the Mexican market.
- Strong background in Personal Care; Home Care experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working with distributors, manufacturers, OEMs, and multinational customers.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing strategic accounts.
- Experience with pricing, forecasting, and commercial planning.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced English is mandatory.
- Availability to travel within Mexico.
