Job Title: China Sales Director
Report to: Global Sales VP
Location: Shanghai or Nanjing
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to lead our China sales team. In this role, you will drive the regional push-sales strategy, owning volume, product mix, and margin targets. You will be responsible for building a stable, recurring business through disciplined execution, customer development, and strong commercial leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the regional push-sales strategy for China to meet sales volume, mix, pricing, and contribution margin (CM3) targets.

Lead, mentor, and manage China sales representatives through weekly and monthly performance reviews, booking cadences, pipeline tracking, and pricing discipline. Support negotiations and ensure commercial rigor.

Build and deepen relationships with key spinners and accounts. Develop tailored account plans to increase wallet share and secure long-term partnerships.

Collaborate with Technical Customer Service to manage trials and technical conversions, accelerating customer adoption.

Improve forecast accuracy, align demand signals with supply, monitor service levels, and support allocation decisions as needed.

Track competitor activity, cotton and yarn markets, pricing developments, and KPIs. Drive proactive countermeasures to protect recurring business.
Candidate Profile

University degree in Business, Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Commercial training is a plus.

Minimum 10 years of textile industry sales experience, with strong knowledge of the spinning process.

Proven track record in sales leadership and territory management, including key account management, negotiation, pipeline management, push-sales execution, and pricing discipline.

Experienced in forecasting, market intelligence, and data-driven decision making.

Strong communicator with coaching and cross-functional coordination skills.

Result-oriented, resilient, and disciplined in operations, with strong problem-solving and conflict management abilities.

Fluent in English and Mandarin (Chinese). Willing to travel extensively within China.
