At Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment Mexico, we are currently looking for a GBS Accounts Receivable Specialist for a multinational company within the industrial sector, with a Shared Services Center located in Querétaro, Mexico.

  General Function
The GBS Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full Accounts Receivable cycle for multiple international entities, ensuring timely cash collection, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining strong financial relationships with global customers.
This position offers significant exposure to international teams while supporting strategic collections, credit management, financial analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Shared Services Center.
  Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Manage the Accounts Receivable portfolio for multiple international entities.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Maintain professional communication with international customers, primarily in English.
• Monitor Aging reports and implement collection strategies.
• Participate in portfolio review meetings with international stakeholders.
• Resolve billing disputes and payment discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment differences.
• Support collection targets and portfolio performance.

Cash Forecasting & Financial Analysis

• Prepare accurate cash collection forecasts.
• Analyze customer payment behavior and collection trends.
• Identify credit risks and recommend preventive actions.
• Support financial planning through reporting and analytical insights.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain collection procedures and communication templates.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
• Contribute to process standardization across the Shared Services Center.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
• Previous experience within a Shared Services Center (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS) is mandatory.
• Experience managing international customer portfolios.
• Experience in Credit Management and Dispute Management.
• Experience working under standardized corporate processes within multinational organizations.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.

Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• SAP or similar ERP.
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Cash Forecasting.
• Aging analysis and collection KPIs.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• French or German will be considered an advantage.
