Senior Public Relations & Communications Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced communications professional to lead media relations, corporate communications, brand reputation management, and strategic communication initiatives. This role requires strong stakeholder management, crisis communication expertise, and project leadership capabilities to enhance corporate visibility and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Media Relations & Corporate Communications

  • Develop and execute integrated media and communication strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, industry influencers, and external stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and manage press releases, executive communications, and external messaging materials.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and media coverage to identify communication opportunities.
  • Plan and execute media events, corporate campaigns, and brand awareness initiatives.

Crisis Communication & Reputation Management

  • Establish and maintain crisis communication frameworks and response procedures.
  • Assess emerging issues and potential reputational risks, providing timely communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective messaging.

Project Management

  • Lead communication and branding projects from planning through execution.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize communication approaches based on feedback and results.
  • Identify innovative communication channels and promotional opportunities to maximize brand impact.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Mentor and support team members to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with business units and affiliated organizations to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or brand management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Strong understanding of media landscape, content development, and communication planning.
  • Proven experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Demonstrated project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or large corporate organizations is highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
