Operations Management Manager

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading global semiconductor equipment and technology company supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing customers worldwide.

The company is seeking an experienced Operations Management professional to support customer fulfillment, spare parts operations, BOM management, and cross-functional operational projects in Taiwan.

This position will work closely with internal stakeholders across supply chain, operations, engineering, service, and commercial functions to ensure operational readiness, improve execution efficiency, and support key customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operational activities related to customer programs, internal supply requirements, and service operations.
  • Monitor operational processes and identify potential gaps or bottlenecks that may impact business targets, customer commitments, or project execution.
  • Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) setup, maintenance, and change control throughout different project and contract stages.
  • Coordinate the setup of new contract, evaluation, and demonstration kits, including BOM configuration and subsequent changes after program launch.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, process quality, and execution effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, supply chain, service, engineering, and other functions to resolve parts-related issues and operational escalations.
  • Support the development and execution of project plans from initial planning through implementation.
  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and task details to ensure timely execution.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, tracking dashboards, schedules, checklists, and process-improvement metrics.
  • Coordinate internal resources and stakeholders to achieve project objectives related to schedule, cost, quality, and operational performance.
  • Track project costs, schedules, and execution status for both internal stakeholders and customer-related programs.
  • Work with external suppliers when required to monitor project progress and evaluate performance against quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Provide regular project and operational updates to internal stakeholders and management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a large multinational or international organization.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in spare parts, customer fulfillment, supply chain operations, service operations, or related functions.
  • Experience within the semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with BOM management, operational planning, project coordination, and cross-functional execution.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data management, analysis, reporting, and preparation of management-level presentations.
  • Practical experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
