We’re looking for a CFO/AVP of Finance & Accounting for a large Electronics Design & Manufacturing company based in Taipei. This position will lead multiple FP&A teams (with 200+ members globally), reporting to the CEO & Chairman. The role requires a unique blend of high-level strategic vision and deep operational expertise, specifically within Global Treasury and advanced Cost Accounting. He or she will oversee a diverse, multinational team of over 200 professionals, ensuring financial integrity and capital efficiency across the design centers and manufacturing hubs.

Responsibilities:
- Direct all aspects of the corporate Finance & Accounting functions, including Financial Planning, Accounting, Tax, and Audit. Provide financial strategy recommendations to the company’s CEO and the Chairman.
- Manage a global workforce of 200+ employees, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and digital transformation (ERP/AI integration).
- Liquidity Management: Oversee global cash positioning and optimize working capital across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization.
- Risk Mitigation: Lead hedging strategies to manage significant exposure to foreign exchange (FX) volatility and commodity price fluctuations (e.g., precious metals, components).
- Capital Structure: Manage relationships with Tier-1 global banks and credit rating agencies; lead debt/equity financing initiatives to support large-scale manufacturing investments.
- Standard Costing Excellence: Oversee the development and maintenance of sophisticated cost models, ensuring accuracy in labor, overhead, material cost, etc.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance and applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive Finance & Accounting leadership; with at least 5 years in a CFO or VP/AVP Finance role within the Electronics, Semiconductor, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong in Treasury. Proven track record of managing large, decentralized FP&A teams (80+) across multiple sites and countries.
- Deep understanding of international operation dynamics and supply chain logistics. Ability to navigate complex international tax laws and cultural nuances.
- Capability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights for the Board.
- Thrives in high-pressure, cyclical industries with tight delivery timelines.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, or related studies; CPA, CMA, or CFA designation is highly preferred.
