“ MAKING SUCCESS STORIES HAPPEN ”

What You Will Do

  • Partner with EE, BMC, BIOS, and system engineering teams to develop, validate, debug, and maintain CPLD/FPGA solutions for server platforms.
  • Architect and implement server power-on and power management control logic using CPLD/FPGA technologies.
  • Design and deliver new FPGA/CPLD features, architectures, and platform capabilities to support next-generation server products.
  • Develop technical specifications, design documents, validation strategies, and comprehensive test plans.
  • Conduct simulation, timing analysis, debugging, root cause investigations, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and system teams to ensure seamless product integration and successful project execution.
  • Support board bring-up, system-level validation, manufacturing readiness, and production troubleshooting activities.
  • Optimize FPGA/CPLD designs for reliability, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Evaluate technical requirements, assess design trade-offs, and provide engineering recommendations.
  • Serve as a technical leader by mentoring junior engineers, driving engineering excellence, and promoting development best practices.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of FPGA/CPLD development experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Strong proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, or other hardware description languages (HDLs).
  • Hands-on experience developing server, storage, networking, telecommunications, or embedded systems.
  • Solid understanding of power sequencing, hardware control logic, system monitoring, and board-level hardware architecture.
  • Experience with FPGA/CPLD development flows, including simulation, timing closure, debugging, validation, and verification methodologies.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive projects, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
  • Previous experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, or leading project execution is highly desirable.
