Position Summary
The Finance VP serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy, planning, reporting, governance, and operational performance. The Finance VP will drive sustainable growth, optimize financial resources, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while enabling business scalability and digital transformation.
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors on business expansion, investments, capital allocation, and risk management.
- Lead corporate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Evaluate business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and new market initiatives.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Oversee annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and strategic targets.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and KPI reporting to support decision-making.
- Identify business risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance frameworks.
- Oversee statutory audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
Treasury & Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and working capital optimization.
- Develop capital structure strategies and financing plans.
- Lead fundraising activities, debt financing, and investor communications where applicable.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure and financial risk management activities.
Technology Business Partnering
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations leaders to support business growth and profitability.
- Establish financial metrics and performance indicators for SaaS, software, cloud, AI, and technology-driven business models.
- Support pricing strategies, subscription revenue models, customer profitability analysis, and business scalability initiatives.
- Drive data-driven decision-making through financial and operational analytics.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and post-merger integration activities.
- Assess investment opportunities and strategic acquisitions.
- Support corporate restructuring and business transformation projects.
Team Leadership
- Build, develop, and lead high-performing Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Develop organizational capabilities to support business growth and global expansion.
