“ MAKING SUCCESS STORIES HAPPEN ”

Key Responsibilities

  • Silicon Manufacturing Authority: Act as the internal technical authority and primary interface for all silicon manufacturing operations.

  • Champion DFM: Promote and drive the Design for Manufacture (DFM) philosophy across internal engineering teams.

  • Foundry Partner Management: Oversee the operational interface between the company and foundry partners, ensuring smooth qualification, early volume ramp-up, and sustaining engineering in line with product realization processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product design, core engineering, and marketing teams to ensure our advanced silicon technology requirements are fully met by our foundry partners.

  • Roadmap Alignment: Review foundry technology offerings against internal product requirements, driving alignment with our long-term technology roadmap.

  • Risk & Project Execution: Drive accountability, solve complex problems, remove roadblocks, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure NPI (New Product Introduction) completes on time, within budget, and meets rigorous quality standards.

  • Silicon Leadership: Spearhead initiatives focused on time-to-market, yield optimization, quality assurance, and cost reduction.

  • Supplier Performance: Define foundry partners, fabs, and facilities; optimize production performance through monthly metrics, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and comprehensive supplier audits.

  • Data-Driven Reporting: Prepare data analysis reports for management and customers, ensuring suppliers have absolute clarity on production specifications while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Skills & Requirements

  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills, capable of aligning internal engineering teams, management, and external partners.

  • Analytical Expertise: Highly skilled in technical and data analysis, with in-depth knowledge of semiconductor industry data analysis tools (e.g., SAS JMP) and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Agility & Time Management: Able to thrive under tight, variable timelines and effectively manage your own workload alongside broader project schedules.

  • Global Mobility: Flexibility to travel as needed to company offices, key suppliers, and customer sites.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: An innovative, creative, and lateral thinker with strong diagnostic capabilities and excellent numerical aptitude.

  • Programming Bonus: Basic software scripting skills will be considered a distinct advantage.

Experience

  • Industry Background: 5+ years of essential semiconductor industry experience with a robust understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, facilities, and equipment.

  • Fabless Operations: Preferred background working within Fabless semiconductor operations, directly interfacing with major foundries.

  • Commercial Acumen: Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, commercially driven organization as an integral part of a Product Development and Operations team.

  • Process Nodes: Experience with advanced process nodes (N16 to N3 CMOS / FinFET) is strongly preferred.

  • Technical Exposure: Familiarity with Multi-Project Wafer (MPW) tape-out processes, baseline process technology, and PCM/etest/WAT parameter analysis is highly advantageous.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent academic/vocational experience and qualifications.
