General Manager (Media & Creative)

Our client is Taiwan’s leading media and creative group, with integrated capabilities across digital media, retail marketing, and AI-powered consumer insights. They are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the Taiwan business, drive sustainable growth, and strengthen strategic client partnerships.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall business strategy, operations, and financial performance, with full accountability for revenue growth and profitability.
• Drive business development and strengthen relationships with key advertisers, brand owners, and advertising agency partners.
• Oversee integrated media planning, buying, and marketing solutions to deliver business results for clients.
• Identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities across digital media, retail marketing, and data-driven solutions.
• Lead and develop the management team, strengthen organizational capabilities, and drive operational excellence.
• Build strong partnerships across the media ecosystem to enhance competitiveness and market positioning.
• Work closely with group leadership to shape long-term business strategy and sustainable growth.

Requirements

• 20+ years of industry experience, with substantial senior leadership experience at VP level or above.
• Proven track record in general management, media agency leadership, or senior commercial management.
• Strong network and established relationships with major advertisers, brand owners, and advertising agencies in Taiwan.
• Solid understanding of media planning and buying, integrated marketing, digital media, and the advertising landscape.
• Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated success in revenue growth, profitability management, and business development.
• Proven ability to lead large teams, manage complex operations, and drive organizational growth.
• Excellent Mandarin Chinese communication skills; English proficiency is an advantage.
