Channel Sales Manager, APAC
Location: Taiwan (Preferred) / APAC Region
Reporting To: Regional Sales Director, APAC
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Channel Sales Manager to accelerate revenue growth and expand market penetration across the Asia Pacific region through a network of distributors, value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and strategic partners.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing channel strategies, driving partner-led sales opportunities, and building a scalable ecosystem to support business growth in key APAC markets. The successful candidate will serve as the primary owner of channel performance, working closely with sales, marketing, technical, and operations teams to maximize partner effectiveness and revenue contribution.
This position is ideal for a commercially focused sales professional with experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, industrial technology, AI, or related high-tech industries.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives across APAC.
- Own and manage partner-driven sales pipeline, forecasts, and business performance metrics.
- Drive opportunity development from initial engagement through design-win, qualification, and production phases.
- Monitor sales funnel health and ensure strong pipeline coverage to support revenue targets.
- Manage deal registration processes and oversee partner-led opportunities.
Partner Development & Management
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage distributors, VARs, system integrators, and strategic channel partners across APAC.
- Build strong relationships with partner leadership teams and key stakeholders.
- Develop partner business plans, growth strategies, and performance objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews and provide guidance to improve partner effectiveness.
- Deliver sales enablement programs, training, and market positioning support.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Collaborate with partners to execute joint business plans and market development initiatives.
- Support partner-led customer engagements, technical evaluations, and commercial discussions.
- Coordinate regional demand-generation activities, marketing campaigns, events, and customer seminars.
- Align channel activities with target vertical markets and strategic growth initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, field application engineering, marketing, product management, and operations teams to support customer opportunities.
- Coordinate pricing strategies, commercial terms, and account development plans.
- Provide market feedback regarding customer requirements, competitive activities, and product opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication between regional partners and internal stakeholders.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Maintain strong knowledge of APAC technology markets, channel ecosystems, and industry trends.
- Monitor competitor activities, distribution dynamics, and emerging market opportunities.
- Identify new growth segments and provide recommendations to support regional business strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in channel sales, distribution management, business development, or partner management.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth through indirect sales channels.
- Established network within semiconductor, embedded computing, industrial automation, electronics, AI, or related technology industries.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of technology ecosystems, channel business models, and partner engagement strategies.
- Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across APAC as required.
