Our client is a well-established international technology manufacturing group with operations across multiple countries. To support continued business growth and manufacturing transformation, the company is seeking an experienced IT leader to strengthen its enterprise application landscape, modernize manufacturing systems, and improve integration across business functions and production sites.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the strategy, governance, modernization, and integration of key platforms, including MES, ERP, WMS, BPM, BI, and related data solutions.

The role requires a leader who understands both business processes and manufacturing operations and can translate operational needs into practical technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise application and manufacturing systems roadmap in alignment with business and operational priorities.
• Lead the planning, implementation, optimization, and governance of MES and other production-related systems across manufacturing sites.
• Drive the integration of MES with ERP, WMS, shop-floor systems, production data platforms, and related business applications.
• Oversee the modernization and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, including ERP, BPM, workflow, document management, BI, and data platforms.
• Partner closely with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality, R&D, and other business functions to identify requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Establish application architecture, system integration, data governance, and project delivery standards across different sites and business units.
• Lead cross-site application initiatives, balancing global standards with local operational requirements.
• Strengthen reporting, analytics, and data visibility to support operational and management decision-making.
• Manage internal application teams, external vendors, implementation partners, project priorities, budgets, and delivery outcomes.
• Provide management-level oversight of infrastructure reliability and information security compliance in collaboration with the relevant technical teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise applications, IT management, or digital transformation within a manufacturing or technology environment.
• Strong hands-on or leadership experience with MES implementation, optimization, integration, or multi-site deployment.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and the interaction between MES, ERP, WMS, shop-floor systems, and production data.
• Experience managing enterprise applications such as ERP, BPM, BI, workflow, or data platforms. Oracle-related experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and cross-site transformation programs from planning through implementation and adoption.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technology priorities in clear business language.
• Demonstrated people leadership, vendor management, project governance, and resource planning capabilities.
• Business-level English and Chinese communication skills are preferred for regional and international collaboration.

Preferred Background

• Experience in electronics manufacturing, industrial technology, semiconductor-related manufacturing, or another complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience standardizing applications and processes across multiple factories, business units, or international locations.
• Exposure to manufacturing digitalization, smart factory initiatives, data platforms, BI modernization, or application architecture transformation.
