Head of Pre-Sales / Technical Solutions (Server & Data Center Infrastructure)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Head of Pre-Sales / Technical Solutions to lead the technical consulting and solution engineering function for Server and Data Center Infrastructure projects in Taiwan.

This leadership role will be responsible for managing a team of pre-sales and solution engineers, driving technical strategy, supporting large-scale infrastructure opportunities, and ensuring customers receive scalable, reliable, and high-performance server and data center solutions.

The successful candidate will serve as a key technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders while helping shape the organization's infrastructure business growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and develop the Taiwan Technical Solutions / Pre-Sales organization.
• Define technical support processes, service standards, KPIs, and team development plans.
• Establish technical strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Mentor and coach solution architects and pre-sales engineers.

Solution Architecture & Technical Consulting

• Design and review enterprise-grade Server and Data Center Infrastructure solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for complex infrastructure projects, including:
  • Compute & Server Platforms
  • Data Center Power Infrastructure
  • Cooling & Thermal Management Solutions
  • Electrical & Mechanical Infrastructure
  • Data Center Architecture & Capacity Planning
• Conduct technical workshops, solution presentations, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers during solution evaluation and deployment planning.

Customer & Sales Engagement

• Partner closely with Sales teams to identify and pursue strategic opportunities.
• Support key customer engagements, executive presentations, and technical discussions.
• Translate customer business requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Build strong relationships with enterprise, cloud, AI, and data center customers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Service, and Project teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support proposal development, bid management, and project planning activities.
• Manage technical escalations and drive resolution of complex customer challenges.

Market & Technology Leadership

• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies related to:
  • AI Infrastructure
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC)
  • Data Center Architecture
  • Liquid Cooling Technologies
  • Power & Energy Efficiency
  • Hyperscale Data Centers
• Provide market insights and technical recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Thermal Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Server, Data Center Infrastructure, Critical Power, Thermal Management, or related industries.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical, solution engineering, or pre-sales teams.
• Proven experience in customer-facing technical consulting and solution architecture.
• Experience supporting enterprise, cloud, AI, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI Data Center or Hyperscale Infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of liquid cooling or high-density cooling technologies.
• Experience working with cloud service providers, colocation operators, system integrators, or large enterprise customers.
• Familiarity with infrastructure design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams across complex infrastructure environments.
