System Applications Engineer｜系統應用工程師

Job Responsibilities

1. Customer & Sales Technical Support

• Partner with Sales and FAE teams to support design wins and build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
• Provide software integration, debugging, and technical support for Tier-1 customers.
• Understand customer system specifications, technical requirements, and application scenarios.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training.
• Track customer projects throughout design, validation, and debugging phases.
• Provide product and technical training to Sales and FAE teams.

2. Software & Firmware Integration

• Reproduce and debug customer-reported technical issues and drive issue resolution with internal engineering teams.
• Clarify technical issues, analyze root causes, and communicate accurate information across teams.
• Support software development, including API drivers, development tools, and related applications.
• Support firmware development, optimization, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Perform software porting, system integration, and functional testing.
• Conduct regression and stress testing to ensure software quality and system stability.

3. Product & Market Support

• Collect and analyze customer feedback, market information, and application requirements.
• Evaluate new product features and assess technical feasibility.
• Support product definition, feature planning, and product roadmap development.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and emerging technologies.

4. Product Development & Reference Design

• Develop and maintain reference designs for product validation and customer evaluation.
• Define test plans, execute validation, and prepare test reports.
• Develop technical documentation, including application notes, user guides, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality, usability, and overall customer experience.

5. Lab & Evaluation Support

• Manage and maintain engineering evaluation kits (EVKs).
• Conduct product testing and validation in the laboratory environment.
• Prepare and deliver EVKs and related technical materials to FAE teams and customers.
• Support customer evaluations and resolve technical issues during product bring-up and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience in System Applications Engineering, Software/Firmware Integration, Embedded Systems, or Semiconductor Applications Engineering.
• Strong programming experience in C/C++ and/or scripting languages such as Python.
• Hands-on experience with software/firmware debugging, system integration, and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with Sales, FAE, R&D, Product, and Marketing teams is highly preferred.
• Customer-facing experience and semiconductor/high-tech industry experience are a strong plus.
• Willingness to support customer projects and occasional business travel.
