Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile Software Customer Support Engineer to empower client teams deploying solutions on embedded Linux and Android platforms. In this hands-on role, you will lead technical enablement, complex debugging, software customization, and system optimizations across key industries including IoT, Industrial Automation, Enterprise Networking, and Automotive.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Technical Enablement: Partner closely with client engineering teams to assist with software integration, tailor embedded features, and resolve technical blockers.

Full-Stack Embedded Debugging: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level software issues spanning bootloaders, OS kernel, middleware, and application layers.

System Enhancement & Optimization: Develop custom software modifications and fine-tune system behaviors to fulfill target deployment specifications.

Root Cause Diagnostics: Reproduce field-reported defects, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with core product R&D teams to deliver robust fixes.

Knowledge Sharing: Document technical insights, continuous integration guides, and reusable solution templates for recurring customer use cases.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Cellular & Client Support Expertise: Solid background in 5G NR / LTE protocols paired with direct, customer-facing technical support experience.

Embedded OS Platforms: Proven development experience with Linux (Yocto framework) or Android BSP architectures.

Core Programming & Diagnostics: Proficiency in C/C++ programming alongside strong multi-layer debugging capabilities.

Kernel & Driver Customization: Hands-on experience developing and adapting Linux device drivers.

Diagnostic Tooling: Fluent with software debugging utilities (e.g.,
gdb,logcat, trace analyzers) and cellular chipset diagnostic suites. -
Hardware Interconnect Protocols: In-depth understanding of standard hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth).

Networking Infrastructure: Practical command of Linux network stacks, packet routing, and security protocols (
iptables, IPsec, network configuration services). -
Domain Experience: Exposure to embedded IoT or Automotive platform software design.

Communication: Exceptional collaboration abilities and fluency in professional spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
