Key Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing
- Identify, source, and develop investment opportunities in high-potential private SMEs, with expertise in one or more industry sectors preferred.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and professional associations.
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging markets and target industries to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and investment opportunities.
Investment Evaluation & Industry Research
- Lead comprehensive commercial and financial due diligence to assess business fundamentals, valuation, and investment potential.
- Evaluate market opportunities, competitive positioning, and management team capabilities.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure investments comply with applicable regulations and capital market requirements.
Portfolio Management
- Manage and support portfolio companies by providing strategic guidance and driving business growth initiatives.
- Help portfolio companies access key resources, including talent acquisition, business development, and fundraising support.
- Maintain regular communication with portfolio companies and monitor their operational and financial performance.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate investment, or a related investment role (industry focus is open).
- An engineering or science background is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of capital markets and relevant financial regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage the full investment process.
- Excellent financial analysis, investment evaluation, risk assessment, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and effectively bridge management and execution to achieve organizational objectives.
- Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and an established professional network.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
