What You Will Do:

Vendor & Schedule Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end sourcing process for PCBAs used in server and data center environments.
  • Track PCBA component availability and material readiness at supplier facilities to maintain production continuity.
  • Review and monitor vendor supply commitments, material shortfalls, and component shipment schedules.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve component constraints and ensure timely build execution.
  • Hold suppliers accountable for delivery, lead time, and quality expectations.

Procurement Execution

  • Issue PCBA demand signals, purchase orders (POs), and forecasts to vendors.
  • Follow up on PO acknowledgment, delivery timelines, and adjustments to align with production plans.
  • Keep procurement data accurate and up to date in relevant systems (lead times, pricing, delivery dates).
  • Support material acceleration, deferral, and rescheduling requests in response to shifting build requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with planning, engineering, and materials management teams to support seamless production flow.
  • Work alongside component engineering and commodity managers to mitigate supply risks and address EOL (End of Life) concerns.
  • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on material status, supply gaps, and recovery actions.

Supplier Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate vendor performance using key metrics: on-time delivery, responsiveness, quality, and flexibility.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in supplier scheduling, material visibility, and communication processes.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years in procurement or supply management within the electronics or server hardware industry.
  • Solid background in PCBA or EMS/ODM outsourcing operations.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes and component lead time dynamics.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-through capabilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and deliver results under demanding timelines.
