You will lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle—from business analysis and validation to characterization and production release—ensuring high-quality results are delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology & Product Leadership

  • Lead and drive new technology/product development from concept to mass production.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, PIE, PE, FAE, and FAB teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Develop and maintain strategic process technology roadmaps for rectifiers and advanced power components.

  • Proactively research advanced technologies and address patent-related opportunities.

2. Design, Simulation & Layout

  • Define new product specifications and perform competitive benchmarking.

  • Evaluate theoretical concepts and device structures through TCAD simulation.

  • Execute mask layout design, including test structures and Design of Experiments (DOE), to verify device performance and models.

  • Manage the full mask tape-out process, including layout review and release.

3. Process Optimization & Quality Control

  • Create and maintain DFMEA, mask layouts, and core process documentation.

  • Optimize existing processes to enhance manufacturability, yield, and overall product performance.

  • Coordinate mask/process changes and conduct risk analysis to safeguard product quality.

  • Partner with PE teams to resolve yield and quality issues through Failure Analysis (FA).

4. Project Management & Stakeholder Interface

  • Act as the principal interface between Fabs, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless process implementation.

  • Lead regular meetings with foundries to manage project schedules, resolve technical bottlenecks, and track execution.

  • Provide technical support for New Product Announcements (NPA) and present data-driven insights to management.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics, layout design, process development, and reliability characterization.

  • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of process technologies required for rectifiers and related power devices.

  • Software Skills: Proficient in mask layout tools and TCAD for process/structure/device simulation.
