Key Responsibilities
-
Technical Leadership & Execution: Drive complete product lifecycles from initial concept and hardware specifications through volume manufacturing.
-
System Architecture & Board Design: Lead embedded computing system designs, schematic captures using Cadence OrCAD, and collaborate closely with Layout (Allegro), Mechanical, and Signal Integrity (SI) engineers.
-
Team Management: Direct, mentor, and scale an internal team of senior hardware engineers and external contractors.
-
Validation & Debug: Lead hands-on board bring-up, test plan creation, engineering validation (EVT/DVT), and root-cause debugging for complex system issues.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software, mechanical, firmware, and operations teams to establish scalable, quality-driven manufacturing processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Experience: 15+ years of hands-on hardware design and system engineering experience, including technical leadership or team management.
-
EDA Tooling: Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD (Schematic) and familiarity with Allegro (PCB Layout).
-
Interface Expertise:
-
Low-Speed / Basic: I2C, SMBus, SPI, UART, USB.
