We are seeking a Principal Applications Engineer to serve as the technical lead within our Analog Mixed Signal product division. Our team delivers a robust portfolio focused on high-performance connectivity and advanced power architectures:

Interface & Connectivity: Includes bridges, serial transceivers, and isolation components (such as USB-to-UART/Ethernet, PCIe-to-UART bridge controllers, RS-232/RS-485 transceivers, and digital/power isolators) engineered for resilient communication in industrial, networking, and multi-market ecosystems.

Power Management: Comprises PMICs, point-of-load (PoL) converters, and power controllers designed to streamline and optimize system-level power distribution.
In this pivotal role, you will act as the Applications Lead for the analog mixed signal portfolio, driving seamless product adoption, system integration, and volume production by bridging the gap between our tier-1 customers and internal engineering units.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Customer Engineering

Lead the application engineering efforts for AMS semiconductor solutions, providing expert technical governance throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic customers, accelerating design-in phases, guiding system integration, and resolving roadblocks during production ramp-up.

Conduct rigorous reviews of customer schematics and hardware layouts, benchmarking them against reference designs and evaluation platforms to mitigate design risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Product Definition

Partner closely with IC Design, Validation, and Product Engineering teams to guarantee successful product rollouts and hardware alignment.

Capture field insights, customer friction points, and emerging market trends to influence next-generation product definitions and roadmap planning.
Collateral Development & Knowledge Transfer

Author and refine comprehensive technical documentation, including datasheets, application notes, reference design packages, and evaluation board user guides.

Orchestrate product demonstrations, bench evaluations, and advanced technical training sessions for field application engineers (FAEs), customers, and internal stakeholders.
System-Level Debugging & Issue Tracking

Isolate and troubleshoot intricate system-level anomalies, driving comprehensive root-cause analysis to achieve swift resolution.

Own the tracking and management of customer-submitted hardware/software inquiries, ensuring thorough validation of fixes and timely closure.
