Sr. Investment Manager

Key Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing

• Identify, source, and develop investment opportunities in high-potential private SMEs, with expertise in one or more industry sectors preferred.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and professional associations.
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging markets and target industries to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and investment opportunities.

Investment Evaluation & Industry Research

• Lead comprehensive commercial and financial due diligence to assess business fundamentals, valuation, and investment potential.
• Evaluate market opportunities, competitive positioning, and management team capabilities.
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure investments comply with applicable regulations and capital market requirements.

Portfolio Management

• Manage and support portfolio companies by providing strategic guidance and driving business growth initiatives.
• Help portfolio companies access key resources, including talent acquisition, business development, and fundraising support.
• Maintain regular communication with portfolio companies and monitor their operational and financial performance.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate investment, or a related investment role (industry focus is open).
• An engineering or science background is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and relevant financial regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage the full investment process.
• Excellent financial analysis, investment evaluation, risk assessment, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and effectively bridge management and execution to achieve organizational objectives.
• Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and an established professional network.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
